Myeloma UK has teamed up with Bunbury Cricket Club, the world’s number one charity cricket team, to stage a Twenty20 cricket match between The Bunburys and Joe Kinnear’s team of football celebrities. The day’s cricket will be overseen by Chris Cowdrey, former England cricket captain.
Tickets for this event, to be held on Sunday 5 September, will include a three course lunch in the Lord’s Nursery Pavilion with guest speakers, faces from sport, an exclusive auction, afternoon tea and the opportunity to watch the celebrity cricket match.
Proceeds from this event will fund our innovative research programme which aims to investigate the causes of myeloma and to discover new, effective and safer treatments which will be tailored to each individual patient.
