There’s no question, Lincoln quiz night is a great success

Liz Vitoria was extremely pleased after her quiz night in Lincoln raised over £10,300 to be divided equally between Myeloma UK and the local hospice. Liz is a myeloma patient and through her diagnosis became aware of Myeloma UK.

A regular fundraiser, the event held on 19 November was Liz’s third quiz night and a great success. She hired The Drill Hall in Lincoln and the evening consisted of a quiz, auction, raffle, food and drink. Liz also made sure she collected Gift Aid where possible which helped boost the amount raised on the night.

Liz said, “It was great to be able to raise such a considerable amount for both charities. My advice to other fundraisers is to keep things as simple and fun as possible. I incorporated an auction of four good prizes into the evening which really helped to get past the £10,000 mark.”
