Transplant Patient and Family Day

The European Group for Blood and Marrow Transplantation is holding a Transplant Patient and Family Day in London on Saturday 6 April 2013. The day will provide patients with the opportunity to meet other patients, talk to medical experts and hear about the latest developments in bone marrow transplants.

Attendees will hear from experts on subjects including: how donors are chosen, advances in bone marrow transplantation, costs of bone marrow transplants, fertility, as well as practical and psychological challenges. There will also be various afternoon workshops including a specific session about myeloma and transplants.
