Initial treatment

If you have been diagnosed with myeloma and have symptoms and complications as a result, it is likely that you will need to have treatment. Treatment at this stage is known as initial or front-line treatment.

Your doctor will discuss and plan your initial treatment and care with you as the type of treatment you have will depend on a number of factors.
