PEER Network

The PEER Network is a new programme available from Myeloma UK. It is made up of ‘PEER Members’ – patients, family members and carers – who are willing to share and communicate with other patients, family members and carers who contact Myeloma UK and are seeking information, support and /or reassurance from someone who has been in or is currently in a similar situation.

The Network is primarily telephone based and PEER Members will respond by talking about their experience, giving practical advice and giving reassurance by answering their questions.

PEER Members have been fully trained in supporting others over the phone.

The PEER Network is not a forum for providing comprehensive information about myeloma, its treatment options or management. Questions of this nature will be referred back to the Myeloma Infoline by the PEER Member. To find out more call 0131 557 3332.
