Community Events Fundraising Manager (full-time, permanent)

£35,000 – £40,000

About the role

As Community Events Fundraising Manager within the Income Generation team, you will manage a programme of community fundraising events and activity, to maximise income and engagement, leading and motivating the team to deliver against targets.  You will also work with the Director of Income Generation on the development of a major national fundraising campaign for Myeloma UK.

You will work with other senior team members on the development and implementation of the Income Generation Strategy, with specific responsibility for Community Fundraising.

You will represent Myeloma UK at a range of events and meetings at locations across the UK from time to time.

About you

This is a great opportunity to work for a national UK charity.  You will need extensive experience within a fundraising/events position and a proven track record in income generation from a range of fundraising products.

You will be able to demonstrate expertise in managing multiple projects through all stages from planning and development through to evaluation and effective measurement of ROI against specific KPIs.  You will be familiar with preparation, monitoring and reporting on budgets and targets.

Excellent communication, relationship development and presentation skills are important for this role, along with the ability to set priorities and work under pressure.

You will have the ability and willingness to attend meetings and events outside normal working hours and travel as required.
