About the role
We are looking for a highly pro-active individual with proven experience of working in a fundraising grants and trusts role, to join our expanding Philanthropy Team within the wider Income Generation directorate.
You will be responsible for implementing and managing the grant process, including managing a pipeline of trusts, creating bespoke applications, developing and stewarding relationships and will work with a range of stakeholders.
You will have responsibility for managing and reporting on all aspects of trusts and foundations work and will work closely with colleagues across the organisation to ensure coordinated and timely reporting and donor stewardship.
In addition to previous experience in grants and trusts, and knowledge of the current trust and foundation landscape, you will need excellent project managements skills and the ability to respond quickly and flexibly to manage a wide range of work to meet deadlines.
The ability to engage people’s interest and build productive relationships, along with high standards of personal performance and first class writing, communication and organisational skills are essential for this role.
