Other ways to give

There’s more than one way to support the important work we do.

As well as making a one-off or monthly donation, there are many other tax-effective ways you can offer your financial support.

Give as you Live

Donate a prize

Boost our fundraising efforts by donating gifts like weekends away, spa days, restaurant vouchers, cooking classes, signed memorabilia and more. The best prizes are non-date and non-location specific, so absolutely anyone can use them.

From raffles to auctions, we run plenty of events where your prize could make a huge difference.

Donate a tax rebate

Tax rebates are always a pleasant surprise. If you’d like to put the unexpected money to good use, you can donate by simply adding this code to your self assessment form: CR45914.

Give the gift of shares

Donating shares is a highly tax effective way to support our work. We can take shares with a value of £250 or more, and we sell them straight away to immediately benefit the work we do. Give shares by visiting the Share Gift website or calling 020 7930 3737.

Sign up for payroll giving

Each month your chosen donation amount will be taken from your salary. The donation is tax free, which means the cost to you is less than the amount you pledge. For example, if you’re paying the basic rate of income tax and you pledge £10, the cost to you will only be £8 – as the other £2 is what you would pay in tax anyway.

Claim Gift Aid

Help your donation go even further by claiming Gift Aid on your donation and gain a Government boost of 25 per cent extra.
