Giving in memory
Giving in memory is a special way to remember a loved one and can also be a practical and positive way for family and friends to come together at a very difficult time.
We extend our deepest sympathy and condolences if you have lost someone close to you. Raising funds in memory of a loved one can provide a little comfort, in that all donations made will help other families affected by myeloma.
Donations in lieu of flowers at a funeral
Families sometimes choose to hold a funeral collection. If you decide to ask family and friends to give a donation in lieu of flowers at a funeral, we can provide you with funeral donation envelopes, including Gift Aid forms. Gift Aid allows us to claim 25p from the Inland Revenue for every pound donated. We can also provide you with information leaflets about Myeloma UK to have available at the service.
In tribute donations
Many people choose to commemorate the life of a loved one by making a donation on the anniversary of a birthday, wedding, or other special occasion. Donations can be made by telephone, post or online. Remember to give the name of the person you are donating in memory of so the money can be attributed correctly.
To order Memorial Donation Envelopes or if you have questions relating to giving in memory, please call Myeloma UK on 0131 557 3332 or email email@example.com.
Please send all donations via registered post to the Myeloma UK office at 22 Logie Mill, Beaverbank Business Park, Edinburgh EH7 4HG.
