The African and African-Caribbean Cancer Support Group in Croydon aims to provide anyone touched by cancer with the support and information that they need to cope with the effects of this disease.
The group provides an informal, friendly environment to connect with people who have been affected by cancer, share experiences and learn how to cope with a cancer diagnosis.
The support group is facilitated by a very experienced counsellor, Hazel Williams, and you can attend this support group if you have been affected by cancer in any way – patients as well as family members/friends/carers of cancer patients are welcome to attend.
One-to-one sessions with the group’s facilitator are possible and these can take place on the day of the support group between 5.30pm and 6.00pm.
Croydon African and African-Caribbean Cancer Support Group meets from 4.00pm – 6.00pm on the first Wednesday of the month.
***All Support Group meetings are cancelled until further notice***
Meetings are held in 3space, located on the 5th Floor of Southern House, in Wellesley Grove.
