Newcastle Myeloma Support Group

Newcastle Myeloma Support Group is an active and well attended group of myeloma patients and family members coordinated by the nurses at the Freeman Hospital.

The Group meets bimonthly for an informal get together over tea and coffee and guest speakers are often invited along to give talks on relevant topics relating to myeloma and its treatment. Coffee mornings are also held and a Christmas social.

The Group welcomes anyone affected by myeloma and more information is available from Catherine, Sarah or Susan.

Venue & Parking Information

The Dene Centre is located near the mini roundabout at the top of Castle Farm Road and Freeman Road. The entrance is almost opposite the entrance into the David Lloyd Centre.

There is a small car park with a number of accessible parking bays.
