Sligo Myeloma Support Group was set up in 2016 for patients and family members in the North West area.
The Group meets once a month for tea/coffee and a general chat with the chance to meet others affected by myeloma and to hear from guest speakers about different aspects of living with and coping with myeloma.
Sligo Myeloma Support Group usually meets between 6.30pm – 8.30pm on the last Monday of the month.
2019 future meeting dates:
The next meeting of the Multiple Myeloma Support Group Northwest will be on Monday, 29 April, from 7pm to 9pm (summer hours) in Sligo Cancer Support Centre, 44 Wine St., Sligo.

Hugh, from Donegal, was diagnosed in 2004, had a relapse in 2007 and was one of the first people to be given the drug Thalidomide as a first course and, later, Revlimid.
Sligo Cancer Support Centre will be organising a public information talk by Dr Mary Rogan about issues and misconceptions about sexual matters for women and men as a result of cancer. It will be an evening meeting in early April and full details will be confirmed shortly.
