Be a forum moderator
Becoming a forum moderator is a great way to support others in the myeloma community and talk to them about their experiences
Some people can find it easier to type about their experiences than to speak about them. Through the Myeloma UK Discussion Forum, people can seek support from others and talk about what they are going through.
We are looking for people who can dedicate a few hours each week to ensure the Myeloma UK Discussion Forum is a vibrant interactive space where people are given compassionate support in a timely manner. Your experience will be valuable to other forum users and will help to make sure that no one feels alone when dealing with myeloma or a related condition.
If you would like to apply to be a Peer Discussion Forum Volunteer, please see our Peer Discussion Forum Volunteer Infosheet. This contains the role description and person specification, along with frequently asked questions.
Peer Discussion Forum Volunteers receive full training and ongoing support in their role.
We’re not currently looking for Peer Discussion Forum Volunteers.
However, if this has sparked your interest and you’d like to use your experience to help support others, please get in touch at peer@myeloma.org.uk to find out when our next round of volunteer recruitment is taking place.

Change lives today
It’s only with the help of generous supporters that we can provide the best possible support and fund research that improves diagnoses, treatment and care.
Everything we do is funded by voluntary contributions, fundraising and gifts left in wills
