A focused mature man follows the flow of the story, sitting and listening to the others during the group therapy.

Become a support group leader

Support Groups can benefit patients, families and carers by providing emotional support, friendship and relief from isolation. They also offer the chance to share information and experiences with those in a similar situation.

Support Groups can be run by anyone with experience of myeloma – whether that’s patients, family, friends or healthcare professionals.

We provide Support Group leaders with training and support and can provide guest speakers from Myeloma UK on request.

If you’d like to set up a Support Group in your area, get in touch with us on 0131 557 3332, or email supportgroups@myeloma.org.uk.

Change lives today

It’s only with the help of generous supporters that we can provide the best possible support and fund research that improves diagnoses, treatment and care.

Everything we do is funded by voluntary contributions, fundraising and gifts left in wills
