Boost your donation with Gift Aid

If you’re a UK tax payer, Gift Aid lets Myeloma UK reclaim the tax paid on your donation. This means we receive an extra 25p for every £1 you donate – and at no cost to you!

Why should I Gift Aid?

  1. You can give us an instant boost
As soon as you complete the Gift Aid form below and submit it, we can start claiming tax back on your donations from HMRC.

This means if you gift us £10, we’ll receive £12.50. £50 will become £62.50. And £100 will become £125.
  2. It takes two minutes
To start boosting your donations, all you need to do is fill in the form below, read the Gift Aid declaration and tick a box to say you’re happy with it. Then it’s just a quick click or tap on the submit button and away we go.
  3. You’ll genuinely change more lives
Last year, we received a funding boost of over £151,000 because of Gift Aid. Money we used to provide the best possible care and support to people living with myeloma and their families.

But the reality is this amount could have been so much more if every one of our supporters had taken a couple of minutes to Gift Aid their donations. Please complete the form today.

Do I qualify for Gift Aid?

To qualify for Gift Aid:

You need to be a UK taxpayer.

  • In a tax year, you need to have paid or expect to pay income tax or capital gains tax that’s at least equal to the amount of the Gift Aid we’ll claim on your donations.
  • You need to complete a Gift Aid declaration.
  • If you complete a Gift Aid declaration that covers up to the past four years, you need to be sure you’ve paid enough tax in those four years to cover the donations. If you didn’t pay enough tax in any of those years, you need to tell us.

If your circumstances change and you no longer pay enough tax, it’s important you tell us this. If you don’t and we continue to claim Gift Aid on your donations, you’ll need to pay any difference back to HMRC.
